Jack of all trades, master of none.

The WinCustomize Personal Pages are coming along nicely and we have received quite a bit of positive feedback on them.  Today we have extended the access to create your own personal page.  Now anyone who has Master Apprentice access or above or a WinCustomize Subscription can create his/her own WinCustomize Personal Page.

To create your own personal page goto http://skinners.wincustomize.com/createsite.aspx. Just logon and fill out the form and submit it!

I'm not clear on the distinction between level 3 and 4 users. The part about "or apprentice level or higher"sounds the on both but I have always been a level 3.(I'm at master apprentice)My OD subscription ran out about 2 weeks ago but I'm unemployed right now so cant do anything about it right now.

"Now anyone who has Master Apprentice access or above or a WinCustomize Subscription can not create their own WinCustomize Personal Page."

Michael I had same question. One day, T-Man told me the difference between USER LEVEL and ACCESS LEVEL. Both are differnt things. User Level is devided into 4 parts: visitors (1), members (2), Old Subscribers (3), and Subscriber (4). While ACCESS LEVELS are: Citizen (1), Apprentice (2), Master Apprentice (3), Journeymen (4), Master (5), Moderator (6), Administrator (6).

According to this your USER LEVEL is 3 and ACCESS LEVEL is 3 too. In past only those persons could make their WC Home Pages.

Hope you have understand the situation....

Huh? It allowed me to create my own personal site, so I take it I have access?? But, if that's correct, how long does it take before I can access my site? I keep getting a page load error.

You have to clear your DNS cache. Maybe someone will come along and show you how to do it. It was posted in a thread somewhere, but I forget where it is at the moment.

Nevermind... it works now

It lets me do it even though I am an Apprentice. I didn't fill out the form and push the button though.

I was wondering the same thing. I don't think I should have had access, but I'm not sure. In any case, I went ahead and created my site... Should I not have? If this was a mistake, what will happen to the people who created a site even though they may not have had access???
